Intensive Six-Week Course with Mico Sundari

You will learn about the pure sounds and pronunciation of Sanskrit characters from the Devanagari alphabet, and study the syllables of six popular Hindu mantras in depth, to gain a solid understanding of their meaning.


This course is designed for students who are new to Sanskrit as well as for lovers of kirtan, meditators, chanters and/or yoga teachers, who wish to combine the benefits of mantra meditation with ongoing spiritual and vocal practice.

● Theme Mantra intro - learn pronunciation and meaning of syllables,

words and phrases, according to Devanagari principles

Nada Yogini ・Voice Therapist

In her mid-twenties, after a series of seven major surgical procedures, Mico began seeking holistic ways to heal which led her to discover the power of the voice. In 2008 she began studying Indian Classical Music with bansuri player Taro Terahara; from 2009 she also received tuition in bhakti yoga and mantra music from Seattle vocalist and mantra singer Gina Sala. Mico has traveled in India, Thailand, Japan and Australia with her partner Shivam Rath who plays Indian slide guitar. Throughout life, she has studied, shared and taught “voice healing”. She is passionate about teaching people how to tune into and harmonise with the physical and spiritual worlds through the sounds of one’s own voice. Her remedial voice session are highly regarded by professional yoga teachers, therapists, healers, actors, musicians, and parents. 

Since 2013 Mico has been based in the the rainbow region of the Northern Rivers, NSW, Australia where she currently offers monthly “New Moon Kirtan” sessions. Attending Mico’s kirtan sessions, or receiving tuition from her, you will be guided into a clear understanding of the mystical powers of your own voice to heal and ignite your spirit.
